>>Most colleges schedule a cupcake opponent for homecoming. Mizzou scheduled Oklahoma which happened to show up as #1. And they beat them - straight up and decisively.

>>LSU - Auburn was great college football and if Cam Newton doesn't get the Heisman - Monday - the fix is in.
>>
>>And today the Cleveland Browns beat the defending champion Saints - in the Superdome.
>>( and the Bills darn near beat the Ravens ).

>No joy here. The Bears should have beaten the Redskins but managed to give it away. Rex Grossman was holding a clipboard on the Redskins' sideline and Jay Cutler did his best impersonation of Bad Rex. He threw four interceptions, all to DeAngelo Hall, and fumbled at the goal line as the Bears lost by three. Cutler has been awful since coming back from a concussion. Of course his line does him no favors. He has been sacked 19 times in the last three games.

>The Giants at Dallas could be an interesting game tonight. As badly as the Cowboys have played, all they need is a mini hot streak to be right back in contention.

>The Browns beating the Saints in New Orleans surprised me. And I can't believe what the Raiders -- the Raiders?! -- did to Denver. They have terrific fans but they couldn't have been happy yesterday.
