Single quote instead of double quote?

Hi,

When creating an HTML file from my VFP application I use double quotes everywhere. For example
<table class="nobordercell" ....
<td class="classname ..."
<width="100"
and so on
The HTML string is then used by .NET application which seems to complain of the double quotes. My question is, if I change the double quotes everywhere to single quotes (and hopefully it will quiet the .NET app), will HTML code work with single quotes?

TIA.
