Steve,

Something you ought to get to know is that a VFP grid isn't really a set of controls on an X-Y grid. There is only one control for each column, all the others are painted bitmaps on the form. You can't really treat a grid as a two dimensional array.

Maybe if you can go into some UI detail about what you are trying to do we can give you some alternatives.
