There is a bug with report preview and menus. Code like this works around it:

push menu _Msysmenu && work around for bug in VFP5 KB Article Q164868
report form (this.mcReportForm) preview &lcNowait &lcSummary
pop menu _Msysmenu

One can preview, close, and regenerate the report, as often as one wishes without any side effects, unless they used the min/max buttons. If they change the size of the report prview screen before closing the application menu pads stop working, and the application can't be closed even with the 'control menu close' or the 'X close button' in the right corner. Both generate an error message "can't close foxpro".
