I’ve an application which work extracting (from SqlServer) all invoices of the current year and present them in the main grid (I can limit the number i.e. the last 100 ones, but my client want to see them all).
Near the end of the year the number of records extracted is more than 5000.
No problem while accessing the program from a PC in the network: it’s fast.
But when accessing through remote desktop (on Win2008 R2), it slows down considerably.
I’m asking how to improve performance: which settings and so on.
