FWIW, the voice on the calls tends to be some well-known political figure. I got one from Bill Clinton last week, for example.
What I find mystifying is why anyone eligible to vote would fail to do us, except in case of dire illness or last minute unavoidable travel. I've voted in every primary and general election since I became eligible, and I can't imagine doing otherwise.
