>How did the game in London Sunday go? I don't really know what the interest in US Football is in the UK but somebody seems interested in getting some franchises going. My first instinct is it has a better chance of taking off there than soccer does here, but I'm obviously biased.
A measure of my interest is that I didn't know there was a US football game going on here on Sunday. I'll have to check in the news.
There's been attempts to get it going for a while now but I can't see it taking off to be honest. A bit like in the US with your NFL and baseball. we have enough sports to fill the options people might want with football(soccer), rugby league/union and cricket.
I occasionally see a few people having a go in the park but thats about it (and a lot of them seem to be Yanks over here )
I freely admit I know next to nothing about US football but the constant stoppages would be irritating (to me).
