>>With Web Connect and other similar products that enable non-UI Fox code and data handling in the middle tier, Fox could be the monster Karp that keeps on living in the muddy waters forever.
Some of those fish get pretty big, too. ;-)
Check out activeVFP as well. I managed to xcopy an activeVFP multithreaded dll up to an IIS box as easily as ASP.NET and it just worked. So you can host your VFP work at cheap providers like Godaddy that won't allow COM registration, which definitely used to be a downside for VFP web stuff.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us."
-- Shakespeare: Coriolanus, Act 1, scene 1
