True, Viv. I *do* remember having problems with grids in this respect. But at the time, we weren't using Grids in our UI, so I didn't spend a lot of time trying to make one available in our Framework. Then, we started hiring a whole lotta new developers and there were a couple of those new guys who thought they could write our Framework classes better than me and my Framework Team. I finally just gave up (no support from upper management at all ... why the heck was I the Team Lead then?) and let them dig themselves a hole. I don't work there anymore. <g>
