We were made aware of the problems with this constant well over 30 years ago and were taught to treat as highly suspect any results from a formula that contained it.

Nice... so it's not only that the data are tweaked, it's also the calculations that are suspect.

But I guess the money involved (someone has to manage all the carbon tax billions) will overpower any truth that may become an obstacle.
