I just change a background picture not all the pictures and the only things that flash are the labels placed over the buttons.
The button picture don't flash at all :(

What is strange is that I have different behaviours if I test it using a simple program and if I launch the whole program.
I was thinking it was due to zorder setting but i was wrong.

>I had a similar problem -- it has to do with the load of the different images and not so much the labels. I solved this by adding hidden (visible=False) images with the image file loaded, Then set the image to display from these preloaded images.
