>>>At least they're back in the U.S. (The Brits must have thought we were having them off with that matchup).
>>>
>>>What's ironic is that most games over in Europe have been between bust teams (though in some cases, the initial schedule and pre-season expectations might have looked different at the time)

>>>- Has the top rushing offense in the NFL,
>>>- Matt Cassel has one of the top QB ratings over the last month
>>>- KC is #7 in the league in rush defense
>>>- KC is #5 in fewest pts allowed (though some teams haven't had a bye week yet)
>>>- KC is tied for #8 in turnover ratio

>>>Todd Haley has quietly developed an "us against the world" mentality in the locker room (sort of like the Jets, except Haley isn't a fat big-mouth slob)

>>I bet the fat big-mouth slob is even crankier than usual this week after being shut out at home by the Packers. (AFTER a bye week).

>>I don't know if you saw any of that game but one part that was funny was several times the cameras caught fans who were dressed for Halloween as Rex Ryan ;-)
>>
>>(Totally unrelated anecdote -- my younger daughter went up to spend this past weekend with her older spinster at college in Milwaukee. They went out into the streets with hordes of students Saturday night. Emily said the funniest costume she saw was a guy in a red golf shirt, a Nike cap, and a golf club wrapped around his neck).

>>Back to the game in London, I was watching (and enjoying) the Packers vs. Jets and was puzzled by the scrolling scores in the upper right corner of the TV screen. "Why are they playing so early in Denver?" I kept wondering. Actually it was 5 p.m. in London.

>"older spinster" ??? <g>

Just an inside joke, sorry. For a long time now I have been referring to them (to each other) as spinsters instead of sisters. "Hey, Emily, where's your spinster?"
