Interesting. When I was around 12 or 13, that was my favorite show! :o) BTW, when I was living on a farm, we always had milk on the table in a large jug/pitcher. It was fresh milk from the cow (yuck). We also had fresh home-made butter too though and lots of fresh veggies (which we had to pick of course).

I actually liked that show as well. My favorite episode was the Christmas episode...when John-Boy would always close his door and write....when his mother (who didn't like closed doors) would ask how the door got closed, JB would say, "I reckon it just got that way". I used that line on my parents for years when they asked why something happened.

The famous episode when JB got slammed in the head with the board and had to have surgery was a good one - though I was hoping the flying board would have Reverend Fordwick's name on it instead....couldn't stand him.
