http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=5771651That sounds like an Onion headline. Sadly, it accurately depicts the view of football in the south. Winning and losing is all we care about. The teams are followed, religiously, year in and year out, Which is fine as far as it goes. But bad teams seem to translate to angst at a personal level.
