Believe it or not, I have the book on order from Amazon. Maybe I will skim through it in a couple of hours. The memoirs of historic figures are generally known more for what they avoid than what they reveal. That said, this has been a historic decade in American history and I am interested in his impressions.
They say one of the best presidential memoirs was written by Ulysses S. Grant, who is also remembered as one of the worst presidents. What I read was he was dying when he wrote it and didn't care much about public relations.
