Thank you. I will read the article. One more question (very newbie, I am sure), if I may. In the steps to allow connecting an application to SQL Server I see steps that enable TCP/IP connection on the server. But how does the client PC "know" that such-and-such IP corresponds to the SQL Server? That is, I don't see in the steps where you enter on the client PC the IP? What am I missing?
