Right click on the server in CCMS, Properties , Connections and verify that Allow remote connections ... is checked

>I enabled TCP/IP protocols in the SQL Server 2008 but still am not able to connect from my VFP application. And it looks to me that the issue is not with login name/password but rather IP connection. Is there a test you can recommend to check if my client computer can connect to the SQL Server? (rather than trying to connect from the application)
