Which one are you trying to connect to ?


>No matter what I do, no go. I am looking at the SQL Server Configuration Manager again to see if I missed something there. From the services running I see that I have more that one SQL Server:
>SQL2008
>SQLEXPRESS
>MSSQLSERVER
>
>And in the configuration manager I have several items:
>SQL Server network Configuration (32) bit
> -> Protocols for SQLEXPRESS - I have not enabled TCP/IP there
>SQL Server Network Configuration
> -> Protocols for MSSQLSERVER - I enabled TCP/IP
> -> Protocols for SQL2008 - I enabled TCIP/IP
>SQL Native Client 10.0 Configuration
> - I have not changed anything there.
