What's the best way to troubleshoot a form object not releasing?

It is a class based form which I have a variable reference to. Var.Release() or var = .NULL. aren't releasing the form.

It seems to point to the fact that something else has a reference to the form but I can't find anything that should/does has a reference.

Any help in tracking this down would be appreciated.
