Apple iOS may be about to receive a HUGE boost, no thanks to Apple: google "apple peel".
There's about 250M iPod Touches out there, any of which now can be turned into an unlocked iPhone independent of AT&T or any other provider, for the princely sum of $57.
We can live in hopes that Apple will legitimize it rather than suing for trademark infringement, but I guess we'll see.
