Hi everybody,

I'm not exactly sure what happens, but I think it may be the latest Windows Update? In addition, I added my gmail account to Pidgin, but I'm not sure if this is related.

What happens is that I'm hearing the computer's fan really loud as it's working hard and also in the Google Chrome the screen visibly refreshes every few seconds.

One of the usual remedies is a computer re-start - I haven't tried it yet.

Do you know what else may be a problem or how can I fix it?

UPDATE. I re-started. It still seems to visually refresh :( In particular, my gmail.com is visually refreshing. I think I also recently installed latest Silverlight, but I'm not 100% certain.
