If you have an iPod, it's easy enough to invest $60 to check it out. I've ordered 2 Apple Peels despite previously having had no intention whatsoever to pursue iOS. I may even end up using one myself, especially if the next release offers dual sim as is rumored- something only Samsung seems to be doing seriously, for Android.
