Could be. They have both been great fighters so in theory it would be a great fight. My understanding is their styles are contrasting, Pacquaio the knockout artist and Mayweather so fast he's hard to hit. An intriguing matchup. Maybe they're just goosing the payday, who knows. Speculation has been going on for quite a while now.

Not that I am implying boxing promoters would ever behave in a slimy manner <g>.
