The first book was sort of promising, and then it went down exponentially, just as the number of pages grew.

Already in 2003, I saw the new installment sold in the grocery (!) on 1st day of publishing. Three books, or no more than four, would have been enough, but her eruptions of verbosity are about equal to what Herbert jr and Anderson did with Dune - except that she did that with her own stuff.

I've read the first book aloud to our youngest; the 2nd we read half/half (she was learning English at the time), the third she read on her own, the fourth... nobody bothered to mention.
