>I got a private message telling me that I should edit the message before it gets deleted. Then I checked and it was already gone. That was around 20:00 Eastern. This morning, the message was back - which I didn't know until Jos pasted a link to it (somewhere in the first five responses in this thread).

Well, it was not from this side. The last time I read a message was yesterday around noon and then back today when I saw this terrible accusation. This is why I wanted to obtain as much information as possible on that issue. At first, I thought someone mentioned that a message was no longer found, a message written by someone else than the person who mentioned it. In such a case, it could have been related to someone who simply updated the message right after. But, if it is one of your own message, then you would have been the only one capable of updating it, assuming no response came since then. The best thing to do to view a message you recently created is by the use of the time warp. Other than that, there could be a cache issue from the browser which happened for a while providing confusion into all of this. Also, when a delete occurs, it is done by me about a test message that I create only for a few seconds just to test a new option. Because, when a message is deleted, there is no way to recover it back. So, if it would have been case, you would have never seen it back.

Next time, please, do let me know in private because going online like this. This has provided a very bad image about the UT and in a matter of a few messages after, it provided a lot of wrong assumptions on the site.
