I am curious how Nevada can be the WAC champions? Hawaii, BSU, and Nevada all have one loss.
>Yes, Boise is out of the BCS. The WAC has three bowl games. If Nevada wins next week, they'll be WAC champions and push Boise to a lower rated bowl. This is not a for sure thing. Boise is an easy game hosting Utah State. Nevada plays at La. Tech, a somewhat formidable opponent.

>It will be interesting to see how the big bowl games end up.

>The big game for me this year was BYU at USU, that the Aggies won. Yesterday I won tickets to the big in-state rivalry today, BYU and Utah. Go Utes!

>>As I understand it, Boise is out of not just the national championship game but the BCS games entirely. Only one school from outside the major conferences can qualify and that is going to be TCU unless they also slip up. In fact I think they are in line for the Rose Bowl, which IMO would spoil a very appealing matchup of Wisconsin vs. Stanford.

>>That's if Wisconsin wins the Big Ten, that is. It's a wacky year in the Big Ten with three one-loss teams, none of whom control their own destiny. Michigan State has the tiebreaker vs. Wisconsin for beating them when they played. Wisconsin likewise has the tiebreaker vs. Ohio State. Ohio State and Michigan State did not play this year. If all three win today it will be a three way tie and the team ranked highest in the BCS standings will go. Currently that is Wisconsin, but they are only one spot ahead of Ohio State. To me -- and admitting I am completely biased -- if Ohio State jumped over the Badgers that would be a farce. Wisconsin not only beat them head to head, they clobbered them, and they will have identical 11-1 records.
