They "why" of why Sarah Palin is hated was not a part of my point. You are still focusing on the cause and the hate of Sarah Palin and not on the life of living in a fishbowl of the children. It's a like a bone.... :o)

Yeah, I'm kind of funny that way....focusing on the cause. And normally you are as well..... :)

That "fishbowl" is largely Sarah's creation. The Palins (be it Sarah, or Bristol, or whoever) draw attention to themselves when they act in ways that are very inconsistent with Palin's speeches. Palin may not be the brighest bulb in the world, but even she has to realize than when you enter politics, it gets ugly.

Now, stuff like the Letterman comment a year or so ago was totally uncalled for - no politician (and her family) should have to put up with that - but the Palin family is demonstrating such an incredible inability to tolerate even the mildest of criticism. Every new week brings a different example of just how piss-poor she is as a role model. Any politician with a true set of stones would WELCOME the chance to debate Katie Couric again - backing out is a chicken-sh__ stunt. And so when Bristol Palin and Sarah Palin talk about work ethic and bravery, Sarah's public stunts come back to haunt her. And most Americans hate that type of phony attitude.

I feel "some" sympathy for Palin's kids. Their mother behaves like an ass. And she uses her kids as props. By the way (and I'm about to make the 3rd non-negative Obama comment)...I'd bet that if one of Obama's kids called someone a fa__ot on Facebook, the kid would have her Facebook account suspended. (Which didn't happen with the Palins). The first words out of Sarah's mouth SHOULD HAVE BEEN, "this is unacceptable talk from my daughters and they will be disciplined"...PERIOD. But because she baked up another lie to defend Willow, it came across as a "my child is an angel and would never do that unless severely provoked". And most people wind up resenting parents who behave that way.

So that's why this fishbowl is largely Palin's making.

OK, I'm done talking religion and Palin ....let's talk about more important stuff....like me getting to shout for joy three times in the next 5 months, when the Chiefs, Ducks, and Jayhawks all win their respective title games.
