My AppScanX utility is currently search only, no replacing of text/code. I've been thinking about adding hooks (ala GenScrnX) that would allow you developers to extend the functionality to do things like replace text. I'll look into this later this week and get back to you about it, to see if it can be used to help in your efforts.
