A few things to consider here..

1. This is most likely a policy of the hotel - not Advisor.

2. La Quinta is a top notch resort. As such, this is rather standard faire with
upper echelon resorts.

My question to you is - did you talk to somebody there? Or, did you just rifle off an e-mail?? You may find that if you talk with somebody, you will get the real scoop on the policy.
