>Skipping from one thing to another might not be so bad in part time work, since I have the stability of a constant project in my full time work. It would provide a nice variety.
Variety is really cool. I'm working on a couple of VFP projects, a C++ project, and three help authoring contracts. It never gets dull. :)
The best thing about variety that I've found is that if I have a problem I can't figure out, I just switch to a different project. When I return to the problem, the solution is (surprisingly often) blindingly simple to fix.
(BTW, there's a very good magazine called "Contract Professional".)
