Well...it should! I have been trying to do this using Panel,PanelLink,Partition, and other properties in line with the way the docs say to do this. I have tried in both VFP6 and VFP5. I have tried to set the Partition in the Properties sheet and programmatically. I keep getting that Expression evaluates to an illegal value error!!!

Apparently, you can do this in VFP3 with those properties but I have no means to test that.

Another way might be to monkey around with the ColumnOrder when you detect that the LeftColumn value has changed (the Scroll event in the grid is worthless -- only fires when you explicitly hit the scroll bar, even if you scroll by tabbig and the scroll bar changes).

I'll keep plugging away at it ;-)
