Thanks. Finally got this one fixed.
The secret was the information in the G Appendix.
Close Visual Studio 2008.
You have to run
Programs/Microsoft Visual Studio 2008/Visual Studio Tools/Visual Studio 2008 Command Prompt
Then enter DEVENV /SETUP
After a few minutes it will be completed.
After opening VS 2008 again, when you create a new project, the MM .NET appears in the project options.
