When we click on something to go to a URL, if we use the Transmit() method to return a file to the user, the result is that the user remains on the same page. Would there be a way to achieve the same behavior but without transmitting a file? The reason is that on a very particular situation, instead of generating a new page to the user, I would prefer to simply just return a message on the actual page. I am trying to see if that can be done in a simple way without doing anything like DHTML, IFRAME and so on. I thought that if Transmit() does that behavior that maybe there would be something else.
