Hi everybody,
I have an olepublic class. Based on this class we build an exe which is called by the service application written in C++.
I just manually registered the exe from the command line.
I tested the prg based class and it worked OK.
I then tested this same class using
createobject('MyExeName.MyClass') syntax and it gave an error.
Is there a possiblity of other (older versions) of this same class registered that may cause this weird behavior?
If yes, how can I make fix it?
Just thought - may be I need to try to unregister it and re-register?
I'm going to try that and all other ideas are welcomed.
UPDATE. Simply compiling the exe into the folder resolved the problem. Exe registered itself and now the correct version is used.
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
