Following up, a lady who works for Castrol customer service who is responsible for this region called me today. She said all the right things and said she was in contact with the franchise owner, and he would call me within three days. He will probably offer me a free oil change. The only problem is I don't want to go there any more. What I am going to ask for is that they refund the cost of the work they recommended to the older lady or some large percentage of it. Now that would be a nice Christmas present for her and me both.
