Tried that, but no go. The best time machine invented so far only counts it, doesn't push it. Sort of read only. Called a clock.
Frankly, when priests stop badmouthing the non-believers and stop pretending they have some kind of monopoly on morality, then I'll apply the golden rule again (and I don't mean physically).
p.s. they'll probably claim they invented the golden rule too
