>>>I don't mind averting my eyes as long as it's not to avoid a something physical aimed into them, like a pushy ringer or a greeting which is for members only or just having to explain etc. Religion is a personal matter, and I have no intention of meddling in other people's personal affairs. On the commons, OTOH, it's always a bit unpleasant to be forced to observe personal lives of others, feels out of place. Just like watching a marital fight in the street... may be interesting, but you don't really want to watch.

Certainly they could do it at home. But I think most, if not all religions, have been mis-instructed by their long dead and poorly documented savior/god to spread the word. So, they have a need to try to drag you into their area of belief. I still maintain that if one must have a religion, it should be a personal journey of life and it no one else's business. Bottom line? It's just plain rude to butt into another person's life uninvited. Its DADT. If I don't ask then they don't tell me. :)
I ain't skeert of nuttin eh?
Yikes! What was that?
