I read the information on the web site and downloaded the screen cam demo and ran it. First, it doesn't handle VFP, so it really shouldn't have any impact on VFP applications. The screen cam demo does a pretty good job of converting a very simple form. Wonder what it can do with a real application though. It looks like it may show some promise, but the demo leaves more questions than it answers.
As far as it spelling doom for VFP - no way. First of all, who's even going to here about this company or this tool? Secondly, it won't really effect VFP apps, just legacy 2.x applications. While there are still a lot of them out there, as time goes on, if the apps aren't upgraded to VFP, the odds that they will be decrease. Most people already are at the point where they want to redesign their old applications completely and aren't that interested in conversion from my experience.
If it works for 2.x though, more power to them. BTW, it doesn't seem to convert
the data source, so the converted apps use FoxPro data.
