Try using buffering (optimistic/5) on your tables. All tables, at all times. Save all (or nothing) in a loop.
using Tableupdate / TableRevert. Wrap it all up inside transaction band (begin tran / end tran)
for keeping data integrity, and you might see some drastic improvements in this respect.

I can't even remember last time I saw corrupted dbf. Excluding SCX, FRX and PJX-es of course. These get corrupted occasionally.
