>>>I thought y'all might find it mildly interesting that a fellow nerd is referenced in a major story by the Washington Post.
>>>
>>>Kudos to the men and women of the Memphis Police Department. The Washington Post has a major story on their website that speaks well of our hard work and the resulting falling crime rate in Memphis. We have more things in store for the criminals starting soon. Here are the links to the story and pictures:

>Not sure what you are proposing--

I wasn't proposing anything - I was merely pointing out the FACT that this thing WK seems to be so proud of is actually probably illegal, is for sure in violation of a court order, and that Police Director Larry Godwin didn't even know about it.

As for the stories about the dirty cops it was a response to "Kudos to the men and women of the Memphis Police Department" - which by the way is 6th in the nation for police misconduct. I will reserve my "kudos" to the men and women of some KS police departments - which ranks last in the nation for police misconduct.

>I am really surprised at how anti-police you have been over the years. Why is that?

>Were you a victim of crime by a police officer at some time?
More than once, yes.

>Is it that the police interfere with your pot smoking freedom?
They don't (of course I don't get to do that anyway cause my employer prohibits it.)

:o) Just not clear where the antagonism comes from...
Just playing the part of the devils advocate I guess.
