I have a very thorough hardware supplier on one clients site who is investigating network and server issues.

He is using wireshark and has noticed a lot of "file searches";

When I run a form which has tables in the dataenvironment, the exe searches first in the root folder and then in the data folder. This makes sense as my SET PATH statement lists the root first and then the data folder, I can change this around so I am not too worried about this.

What I don't understand is that I have a procedure library which is in the .exe, but when I issue a SET PROCEDURE TO wireshark shows that the exe searches my whole SET PATH (root, data, graphics, etc.) before appearing to give up. My understanding was that VFP looked for PRG first within the .exe and then looked elsewhere, is that not the case?
