I was really pleased to see on the news that Congress passed the nuclear arms reduction treaty. To me resistance to that before the election epitomized intransigent opposition, as did resistance to the financial reform bill. Those both should have been slam dunks. At least in the end they did the right thing in both cases, even though the financial reform bill wasn't what it should have been. Applause all around.
