It's kinda weird, but after the Broncos, the Chefs are one of my favorite teams (other than whoever is playing Oakland). I hope they do well, but I was at the game in KC this year and Denver should have beaten them. Since it was that close, and Denver is pretty lousy this year (until Teebow made his showing - much too late), I don't see them going very far. Even so, that's why they play the game. Go Chefs!

>Yep, and whoever goes through there will be singing "I'm a steamroller baby, just bound to roll all over the CHEFS" They will win thd division and clock out after 1 game. The real stops are Baltimore and Foxboro on the AFC side and Philly on the NFC. I'm seeing Philly and NE in the final dance and it will be close with NE winning.

>I woudln't be so sure of that. KC is 7-0 at home, and is assured a home playoff game during the Wild Card round. Many are comparing the 2010 Chiefs to the 2008 Arizona Cardinals. I'm not saying KC will make a run like Arizona did, but I think KC can win a playoff game against either the Jets or Ravens. (If the Steelers lose next week and get in as a WC, I'd be a little more nervous against the Steelers).

>Baltimore certainly has a good record, but I think a few AFC teams can beat them. I agree that Foxboro is the big challenge.
>
>But just like 2008, the favorites could wind up beating each other. KC could pull an upset in the 2nd round and wind up playing Indy in the AFC Title game, after Indy pulls an upset at Foxboro. Indy would have to come to KC to play the AFC Title game at Arrowhead. KC played Indy nose-to-nose at Lucas Oil back in October, before losing in the end. KC would be looking for revenge. Call me crazy, but a scenario like the crazy one we saw during the 2008 NFC playoffs could happen this year in the AFC.

>(Of course, New England and Pittsburgh could pulverize teams in round 2 and play in FoxPro. )

>As for Philly, I think they have too many issues on defense. Atlanta is the team to beat, IMO. Matt Ryan is like a surgeon out there. (I can't believe I'm giving props to a QB who came from the ACC, but Ryan is really good). If Green Bay can get in, they could be the surprise team. But we'll find out soon enough.
