Packaging VFP inside Visual Studio was about the best solution for increasing the market. For about 1/3 of this years DevCon in Orlando, it was their first DevCon they ever attended. I don't know what percentage of those people started using VFP after getting it with VS.
It was mentioned at DevCon 98 that 10% of the Visual Studio users tried VFP for the first time. I am sure this will increase as more people are exposed to VFP.
I am just tired of hearing people say that MSFT should kill VFP. Mike Feltman sent your message responding to the 'death' of VFP to the FoxShare e-mail list. I will post to all the misinformed people I come across.
