My pick, trying not to be biased about it, is Wisconsin going away. If TCU wins I will salute them with no sour grapes.

I figured it would be a close and low-scoring affair. I thought Wisconsin would win by a FG or so, but I'm not shocked at TCU winning. TCU was the real deal this year.

So now there will be a great deal of debate about a playoff system. And if the Auburn/Oregon game is a one-sided affair, you'll have some people screaming that TCU should have been in the NCS game. I don't always like the BCS, but I also don't see the BCS changing any time soon.

But even without a playoff system, TCU just won a BCS game with a payout of about 18 million.

The next question (aside from who will win the NCS game) is how well TCU does next year. They're losing several key people, including Andy Dalton. Don't be surprised if TCU pulls a 7-5 next year.

Meanwhile, LaMichael James has already stated he'll come back to Oregon next year, regardless of what happens against Auburn. If Andrew Luck enters the draft next year and Harbaugh coaches somewhere else, Oregon will be a big favorite to win the Pac-10 with little competition again next year and perhaps even play for the Title again. I know that Luck thinks he might stay at Stanford, but if the NFL gets a new labor agreement by March, don't be surprised if Luck enters the draft. He has people reminding him of when Matt L. stayed at USC for another year and lost some draft value.

And on your other post about the NCAA and the 5 Ohio State players getting suspended - I agree with you that the NCAA's ruling was the biggest pile of horsecrap.
