Speaking of color (or lack thereof - black/white isn't color, right?), just yesterday daughter told me of a case. A girl almost got kicked out, but managed to be admitted to a prestigious college via affirmative action, as an African American. They couldn't prove that she was trying to cheat or anything, because she fits the definition 100% - she is entirely African (born there), she is American citizen. There's no skin condition involved in the definition, so her being white shouldn't count as cheating. You wanted black people only in affirmative action? Well then, I dare you say so.
