Hi Mandy.

>I was having some problems with some views which had gotten out of synch.

How'd you like your view to *not* get out of sync? Check out the new version 5.1 of Stonefield Database Toolkit (SDT) at www.stonefield.com. It has a view redefinition ability that automatically updates any views based on a table when you change that table's structure. Stonefield is a member of the UT Partnership program, so we offer a discount to UT members.

>If I open my copy of the database which I sent to a user, rerun the createsql commands on it to recreate (thus fix) the problem views (just two), can I then send the users just the newly created three .DCT,.DBC, & .DCX files and have them overwrite their existing three files with these?

Yes, you can do this as long as you haven't changed anything else (like the structure of any table). If you have, then you won't be able to open those tables you've changed at the client site any more (SDT has a method that can automatically take care of this issue for you as well).
