Medical attention, like many other things, will be much cheaper in a developing country. On the downside, (a) Your medical insurance may not cover everything if you live outside of Germany in your case; and (b) Medical science may not be as advanced in some developing countries - for example, certain advanced analyses may require you to travel to more developed countries.
