Thanks for your prompt reply. I have been a FOXPRO programmer since 1992 and have had extensive exposure to FOXBASE and dBASE prior to that. I also have working knowledge of ACCESS, Power Builder and Paradox.
I am currently a Senior Systems Analyst with a Fortune 500 Company. I have been approached by a friend to do some part-time work, namely a project on the side. Being new to the consulting world, I was not sure what my billing rate should be. I know roughly that the rates range from 35 to 85 an hour for this region. I am proficient in design and the project is going to be in VFP 5.0. It is going to involve a lot of desing and testing along with coding. Based on the above info., do you have any idea what my rate potentially could be?
