I have skipped versions myself. But skipping a SP makes less sense, as with time the answers will nearly always come from users of the last SP. In case of vfp I argue strongly for anybody to switch to V9SP2 - there will not be any change and the eroding helper base comes works with that.

You might give better value for $ spent switching to V9Sp2 if testing schedule allows it. Switch over and batch test a couple of thousand runs....
